I've reads this whole series and some of the spinoff series stuff as well. The spinoff stuff is uniformly boring, but this series is uniformly fun. OK, it's not deep, it's arguably repetititive, and the main character is very uncomplicated, but each book is a fun read.My only complaint is that the books are short and seem to be getting shorter. I know that this is a Kindle trend and that this scheme is what you have to use to make money, so I can't complain too much. Also - these books come out very quickly, so there seems to always be a conveneinet read ready to go, whenever I look.
Another great Brownstone. So much information has come to light about James’s origins but there is still lots to learn. I am wondering about what part Horace and Estelle will play in the future. Love where this is heading. Seems like all the players are now trying to figure out where they go from here - bounty hunting to how to deal with alien invasion. So much for vacation! I guess James and Shay will just have to take their moments when they can. Love the roles of both Peyton and Heather and hope they will be able to lead James to Aiyn so he can take off her blinders. Always looking for the next one!
What and Brownstone are relaxing after the fight with the Council, but after three weeks of relaxing. What is getting a bad case of Cabin Fever, and suggests that they do something "Fun" together like a combination Bounty hunt/ Toomb raid! And the Professor has just the thing, a cult of nutjobs in hiding in an abandoned oil station in the wilds of Northern Canada! ( who seemed to have annoyed the local Wendigo) Meanwhile, Trey and the boys in Vegas are investigating a robbery , somebody knocked over Jessie Raey's ! Lots of excitement for everybody!
What is James Brownstone? That is the question. James and Shay head to the frozen Northland and we get a little clearer view of his background, and a peek at a new, more dangerous, enemy. And, who was stupid enough to rob Jessie Raye's? Other interesting people and plans are introduced. I am so excited that Jake's daughter will soon be home from school. This book is freaking epic!
Love the whole series. As always, from this author, GREAT characters, addictive storyline, with a lot of " OMGS what happens next??" Finally got an answer to one intriguing question about brownstone's origin in this one. Love this series! also, enjoy the two spin-off series about Shay Carson and Allison Brownstone. As always, More Please, Mr. Anderle
I am not sure how to best describe a book by The Author, you just have to read them. You will be hooked. Every detail works to make you crave the next sentence. Brownstone is more than we thought, and maybe more human with each book. Please keep them coming. Highly recommended.
I like the Brownstone series quite a lot. With addition of an alien female out to kill him, interesting. Suspect we will find out more about his history and where he comes from, good and bad. Whatever, I like these books, More than BA, no but close.
But this one seemed more thoughtful than normal. Loved that you are digging more into Trey thoughts but maybe a little too much Trey. Little too much Tyler. Brownstone and Shay got married in Allison's story, when will it happen in this one?
